  4. Marilyn vos Savant of Austria is widely reported to have achieved the highest IQ score ever measured at 228.
  5. The Spanish flu which started in 1918, was the worst flu pandemic in history, killing more than 40 million people worldwide.
  6. The Sumatra-Andaman Islands earthquake in the Indian Ocean, On December 26, 2004 was the longest earthquake ever recorded. Seismometers worldwide measured it at between 500 and 600 seconds. Its magnitude was between 9.1 and 9.3 on the Richter Scale.
